Even though the SxS card only records at 35mbs it provides a useful fallback if there were a Compact Flash card failure or other form of data loss. If you are travelling with Lithium Ion batteries its in your interests to read further… or face a $US 1,000,000 fine! It is permitted to carry lithium ion batteries of less than 100-watts as hand carry but each battery must have gaffer tape over the contacts and be individually kept in a sealed plastic bag. There is no limit on the number of batteries in this category that can be hand-carried - aside from what the hand baggage weight allowance permits.
